Print on printer, or print on your computer screen?

If this is text on your monitor, and the monitor is an older CRT style, then the monitor is failing, and should be replaced.

Wrong Color Printing

Hi,
Type "print nozzle test" in the search box and click Search. Perform a nozzle test, and if the colors match what are on the instructions, your print head and inks are OK.

(1) If the print head and inks check out OK, type "wrong colors on print" in the search box, and you will see several troubleshooting steps you can try.

(2) If the nozzle test colors are off, confirm that you are using BCI-6 inks for all three colors and the small black tank. You should only have a BCI-3 tank in the large black position. If you have all the correct inks, your machine probably needs to be serviced/ repaired.

My Canon Pixma MP258 printer can't print the red color but other colors are okay. When I print out any words or pictures that needs red color,it becomes green color.I don't know what's wrong...

Solution

1. Press START - Devices and Printers
2. Right-click the Canon MP258 series - select Printing preferences
3. Click Maintenance - Cleaning
4. Select All Colors BK, C, M, Y - Execute
5. Wait until the process is finished (Do not start another operation until the cleaning has finished).
6. Click Print Check Pattern OK

If the results print out like this, there are two possibilities:
1. Red ink in the cartridge runs out. Solution: injecting with red ink
2. If the red ink has been filled, and check pattern is still not out, meaning the color cartridge error.
Solution: replace the cartridges

Prints are green

it can be due to ,, color catridge contains only green,, since the other colors,, are been used for prior printings,, and the green ink is left in the catridge,, you can check.. make use settings to print in gray scale,, dont use color.. then it should be fine.. but the color cartridge to be replaced

Incorrect & missing colors

I would try purchasing new ink - especially if the printer and inks has been sitting unused.

Ink inserts show adequate ink but printed copies not proper color

Try this: Using the Guide for the software (don't you have an icon for the guide on your desktop?) select the "printing" troubleshooting option. It should show the steps to cleaning the print heads and how to do a nozzle check. It is really easy to do both, just click where it reads "clean print heads" and "nozzle check." I'm not positive this is the solution to your problem but it is worth a try--better than trying to get anything out of Epson's tech support. (Good luck with that!) I hope this does help.

No color

Make it sure that ink cartridge are genuine not generic , sometime the generic ink the printer connot identify because the small chip at the back of cartridge are defferent from genuine ink.Sometime the generic can print but not true color, genuine has a perfect color and you will satified save time , money ,and effort.

My colors do not print right

It sounds like your red ink has run out or the red jets have become clogged.
