Question about Whirlpool RBD305PD Electric Double Oven
Hi, just wondered if you could advise me on the change of a grill element for this type of dual grill element, i have a new element on order but i am unsure how this is fixed into the top grill, any information would be greatly appreciated
P.S would this involve me taking the oven out or could i do this from the front??

diydoris, you would have to have someone ohm out the lower element to make sure it is good. If the element is good, then your problem probably is in the TCO. This is a thermostat that sits on the back of the oven that can go bad. You can test this with a meter, if it shows open (no continuity) its bad. Part number for the TC0 is 4450934. Part number for the element is 4448696. Catriver...post back.

If the fan is still working ,then you need a new oven element fitting, it will have blown, there by causing trip to operate.

If it is a fan assisted oven and the fan is working o/k, then you need to replace the oven elemnt, located at the rear of the oven compartment behind a removeable cover.
