In you case, there is two probabilite :

- the screen
- the nape

and yhe nape is the moste probabilite, it's a small nape for the connexion betwen the screen and the mothercard.

in all the case this intervention need a professionnel intervention, i don't advice you to do it by your self if you are note.

good luck;)

N 95 screen is blank

Its your flex cable. its a ribbon that links the lower part to the upper part. just replace it because it should be having some broken part.

Nokia n95 8gb lcd is blank but i hear it's turning on

if its blank you have to replace the lcd screen with a new one.
sometimes it maybe a flex cable problem which occurs in some slide phones.

at mobile phone repair stores, the cost of an original lcd screen replacement is usually $150-$200, though sometimes an original lcd screen may not be fitted into your device but rather a hong-kong made one which is similar to the original but is less brighter and a little less sharper.

if you take it to a nokia care centre to replace the lcd screen you may have to pay over $250.

you can just buy an lcd screen off ebay, replacing the lcd screen yourself isnt hard with the tools provided. you just have to take the ribbon cable from the old lcd screen and insert the new lcd screen and plug in the ribbon cable for it.

the reason for original Nokia n95 8Gb lcd screens being so expensive to repair/replace is that it is also the same lcd screen used for the Nokia N96.

cheers.

Nokia N95 8Gb fell,screen is white.

The screen cable may have become loose or dislodged. You can find out how to replace the screen and also to check the cable here - http://spyda.vox.comlibraryphoto6a00d09e7ac027be2b00d41442e37f685e.html.
You can pick screens up on ebay too.
