Question about Audio Players & Recorders
Can you tell me if it is possible to change large speakers on a Beocenter 9000 to Bose bookshelf speakers? I understand some sort of converter would be necessary IF it is a possibility. I've been trying to get answers to this for some time, even the B & O people in San Francisco (nearest retailer) were not able/willing to help. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.
All you need to do is to measure or look up the impedance of the speakers on the Beocenter 9000. Most speakers are either 4 or 8 ohms. Now measure or look up the impedance ot the Bose speakers. If the Bose speakers are the same or a lower number than the Beocenters, you are good to go. But, if the Beocenters speakers are a lower number than the Bose, then you should not switch speakers.
