Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer
My washer is making loud grinding noise. I cannot make out weather or not it is a grinding or pumping noise but is sound awful and like it is damaging the machine. It makes the noise during both spinning and draining cycles. I have not rec'd any error codes, if I was not home to hear the noise I would not guess that there was anything wrong with my machine.
Not nesseccarrily your pump, possible you have a rear bearing going bad, which will sound as if a helicopter is coming through your laundry room. ( noisy pump can be the issue , honestly a better and cheapre problem to have) in order to determine if its apump problem you can remove the lower access panel and unplug the pump then start the spinn cycle, if it still loud the pumpms not hte issue.
