Question about Televison & Video
The TV was working fine when it was last turned off and when it was turned on the next time the power LED only blinks red. I have unplugged the TV for a few minutes and upon plugging it back in the LED goes green, the blinks red in this pattern: ''Blink , pause, Blink Blink, pause, Blink, pause, Blink Blink, pause.... and so on. I cant find the blink codes anywhere on the internet and dont know where the problem stem froms.
While I can't tell you what this particular code means I know from experience that power boards fail frequently commonly on those TVs. Do you hear a clicking of the power supply first on and then off after a few seconds?
There's a guy or a company on eBay that offers trade-in for faulty power supplys, you should check them out:
Search for 37'' Philips in the title or contact them to ask about it. Used to be $99 flat including return shipping.
