if you have another pc or can use a friends you can download "Hirens Boot CD" it's free and you just need to burn it to a disk and boot from it. Once it boots up it has a lot of tools including one you can remove the password. If you need help using it you can google it there is plenty of information.

If you already replaced the motherboard then try replacing the power cord. If you meant you replaced the cord already, the it might be your motherboard is bad.

You can remove or change the Window's User oradministrator's password. You need access to a computer with Internet access todownload the Hiren's Boot CD and burn it onto a CD. Then insert this CD into the laptop/computer and boot upthe laptop/computer with the Hiren's CD and follow the instructions. There are very useful utilities CD and it a Linux boot CDwhich contains quite a lot of Utility programs including a password removalprogram. When you boot from your Vista dvd, it will show all your partitions.
Then you can format, delete and much more...

I've you dont have a Vista dvd, you should use Hirens Boot CD.

Note:
You can't format your harddrive when Windows is active, so you must use a bootable cd/dvd.

Press the Power button to start the PC, and then press the f11 key when the standard BIOS prompts are displayed on the black screen.

When computer starts, please press System Recovery and then hit next.

Please select no if it asks you to use Microsoft Restore System and hit next.

Please back up files at this point if you have not already done so. You will lose all data that cannot be retrieved after this process is completed. If you have done so already, hit next.

Your computer will then begin the final process of recovering itself.

This could be a lengthy process, so give it time.
