If you have access to a monitor, connect it to your laptop, you may need to hold down the function key and press the "CRT/LCD" key which may be F8 or F7 key, and see if you are able to see anything.
If trhis works, you need a new display, take it to your local computer repair shop.
I hope this helps.
Good Luck.

10 inch table sometimes will not go to the shut off choice when I push the button I get a black screen

A short push of the power button puts it to sleep and you get a black screen. A longer push of the power button will show you the screen with the option to power it off.

Laptop white screen, please help

Yes! the video graphics card is usually built into the motherboard, from the description it took a high static charge in the main board and is causing cascade failures, I would consider a new computer.

Toshiba Satellite L35-S1054 won't boot up, just keeps restarting

It sounds like your motherboard and/or processor has been fried. You should take it to someone who can assemble it and take a look.

Battery less work

they might be having a 8-Cell Battery Pack. a standard 3-cell battery have a max time of around 2.5-3 hours of uptime, while a 8-cell battery pack have an uptime of 8 hours approx.
you can replace your existing battery pack with an 8-cell battery pack, just visit the nearest HP Centre for more Help.
Beware: 8-Cell battery Pack is much mre expensive than 3-Cell....!!

Where you plug in the power cord the light stays on and the screen don't even turn on i need help findin the problem.

Hi There....

- Check for the brightness/ contrast of the screen
- just change the position of the screen, may be you can push it little front/ back or you move your chair a little left/ right
- check the lighting in your room and make sure direct light fall on the screen, coz you may just find the same reflection and cannot see the original screen...

- if nothing works, may be the prb with LCD screen itself and may need a repair/ replacement of the same...

ALL the Best...

IBM T-40 Thinkpad Stopped Working

IBM's are famous for this ...that's why they've changed their keyboard configurations so frequently, because palm pressure would either a) prematurely damage the hard drive or b) cause problems with the AC/DC card (IBM's term, not mine).

My guess, since I used to repair IBM laptops for a living, is the AC/DC card. It directly controls video output to the LCD. You can probably find one "pulled" on eBay for around $50, and probably $50-100 for someone to install it for you.

Hope this helps - remember to rate! :)
