My flash drive is having the similar problem, it is detected, but it takes about 4 to 5 minutes to be detected, and processes slow.

I had PNY replace mine. On 2 different laptops, XP and Vista, the PNY locks up either Windows Explorer (Vista) or the whole computer. If I remove the drive from any of the USB ports, the computer will come back up. The old and new USB Drive (Attache 4G) do the same thing.

I have a 4G mini usb drive but the computer doesn't detect it. I tested it in a Dell printer to scan to usb and works ok. I'm running windows XP in my pc. Do you have a driver to install it or any...

Click Start
Right-mouse click My Computer
Click Properties
Click Hardware
Click Device Manager
Look to see that the USB ports are correctly detected, and that their device-drivers are loaded.

Try a different USB device in your computer; if it also does not work, then you have a problem with your computer, _NOT_ with the PNY flash-drive.

Plug the USB flash drive into a USB port on your computer. An Explorer window will popup once it's recognized by Windows.

Click on the file you want to delete so it's highlighted. Right click and choose delete. It's that simple.

Flash drive

Hi,
What operating system are you running ??
If it,s windows 98 you,ll have problems, as they don,t like mass staorage devices, even with the drivers installed.
the other alternative, is to try on another PC And format it to FAT/FAT32 Or NTFS ( if your using XP )
