I have my t mobile dash every time I put a sim card it asks me a code I do not know what to do

May i ask what it says when it asks for a code as it may be your sidekick is not unlocked at all. If it is however unlocked, and i appolagise if i am wrong, it may be asking you for a phone unlock code which the previous owner put on it. You would need to contact the previous owner for this code as the mobile phone provider will NOT reset it for anyone else as there will be a security question to answer before they will reset it!!

What is a PUK? PUK stands for Personal Unblocking Key, and it's a code that's associated with a mobile phone SIM card.

Why am I being asked for a PUK? Your mobile phone's SIM Card has a four-digit PIN code enabled by default. If you enter the PIN code incorrectly three times, a lock will be put onto the SIM card, and you need a PUK code to unlock it.

Where do I get a PUK? If you're being asked to enter a PUK, you will need to contact your network operator to get your SIM Card unlocked. This is for security reasons. Note that only your mobile phone network operator can legally provide you with a PUK code to unlock your SIM card.

I put my pin 3 times incorrect.they ask for puk code.but i do not have my puk code

You just need PUK code for that you should follow this steps
*Call customer care.
*From any of your friends number.
*Tell them that it is asking for puk code.
*They will ask the number tell your number.
*They will tell you the code.
*Enter the code to your mobile.
*Your mobile will be just fine.

Unlocking ATT TILT

most probably you have not switch on the wireless mode. make sure you have wireless mode ON. than it will ask you for network code. than you can enter the code. or also make sure you are putting sim card in correct direction.
