Flat screens should never be washed. You should only wipe it with a lens cloth or lint free duster. The tv will not work until it has completely dried. I suggest that you leave it switched off overnight and then try again.

A good solution to use for cleaning LCD screens is one of two parts isopropyl alcohol and two parts water or two parts regular vinegar and two parts water. Always use distilled water instead of water from the sink since it doesn't have any minerals or additives in it that can end up on your screen. The water should be at room temperature.

I have several large water spots on the lower right corner of the tv from overspray with windex. Can this be fixed?

Not a good idea to clean tv with windex. Try wet towel dipped in mild soap solution. Make sure all water has been removed and towel is only wet. When tv off, try removing the spots. Turn tv on only after tv dry.

I have a 55" Panasonic flat screen that won't turn

Try disconnecting all of your HDMI cables and plugging the power cord of the TV into another wall outlet. If this resolves the issue, you may have had a small power surge from either your wall outlet or one of your source devices. It is recommended to connect your TV to a surge protector if you haven't done so already.

How can I fix a 3/4 inch vertical black line on my Samsung UN60D8000?

When liquid drips onto the x buffer boards (located along the bottom edge of the display panel ) the liquid Will damage the ribbon cables that are connected to the display panel. Replacing the display panel may be the only way to repair the tv. I've been in the tv repair business for over 30 years.... Dan

3d Samsung plasma craked screen & won't turn on ,can it b fixed

you will have the replace the entire plasma screen. This will NOT be cost effective, will be cheaper to buy a new set vs. buying a replacement panel. Toss the set on Ebay or your local craigslist as a parts unit. If you get $60-80 for it, take the money and run !!!

** TV won't turn on.** No picture or sound. Please Help !

If the red light won't come on it is not getting power.First, try plugging it in to a different outlet,or unplug one of the gadgets you know is working and plug the tv in there. You are simply switching. If you know that there is power coming from the outlet and it still won't come on then you'll have to check the cord;don't go much farther than that without expert help.
