Power on the unit was working then just turned itself off... we unpluged the unit and pluged it back in and have a steady red stby light. when we go to turn it on you hear the click of the relays then the stby red light flashes for about 3-5 sec then the light goes off and no more reaction from any of the controls until you unplug and plug the unit. ppm50h3qx/xaa h1hxa00155a md: ppm50h3q type: nt50p3 s/n: d650h1hxa00155a

The screen on the Samsung Plasma Display went black all of the sudden while using it. There appeared to be no power to the unit. I unplugged it and then plugged it back in and got the red light at the power button to turn on. When I pushed the power buttun you could hear the clicks from the relays and nothing happened, and the red light disappeared again.

SOURCE: TV power keeps clicking off and on no picture

Hello,This problem happens when the voltage of pin 1 of IC804 is low. The low voltage is caused by pin 4 not being 20V this is caused by two capacitors not functioning properly ( a 22uf cap in parallel with a .1uf cap) replace these and replace the 24K ohms resistor with a 44K ohms resistor (as per update specs). This should bring pin 4 to 20V and allow the set to activate. Replacing the 24K with a 44K is recommended by the manufacture to prevent the cap from going bad.Or if you do not want to do this yourself have a qualified TV technician do this for you.Thank you,Shuttle83http://www.electron-age-technologies-llc.com

SOURCE: my tv will not turn on the red light just blinks

When checking the capacitors, If they are slightly rounded on the top where the X is, the cap is defective.

To repair or replace the board -

Faulty parts on PS board , bad press for Samsung.

Because the Samsung LNS4051D would not turn on and the power
LED would blink 4 times and the relay would click and this
would repeat again and again. I replaced power supply board
parts CM806, 811, 812 & 817, all 1000 uf 10v capacitors,
three had their tops bulged up slightly that I missed on
initial visual inspection. After seeing the reports of
problems with these caps on
http://www.fixya.com/support/t1336881-will_not_turn_or_off ,
I replaced them with Radio Shack part 272-1032, 1000 uf, 35v.
They are slightly bigger, but fit OK. TV is working fine now.
Cost was 4 x $1.59 = $6.36 plus the time. I saved between
$100 to 300 in the process of either replacing the board or
getting the unit serviced. If you are not comfortable
replacing components which means using a soldering iron, you
can replace the power circuit board, available from
www.Samsung.PartStore.com.

The lights on my hp psc 1410 all in one printer is always on and not goin off. I have manually unpluged it and pluged it back in after a few mins and all the lights appear but no sound is coming from it...

Try a Reset. This is from the HP Web Site:

Unplug the power cord from the unit. Reconnect the power cord into the unit. When the lights begin to flash, press and hold the On/Resume and Paper Size buttons. When only the On/Resume light is flashing, release the buttons. When the On/Resume light is steady, the reset is complete.

When I turn all it does is beep have a steady red light on. Tryed unpluging everything and pluging back in no difference.

Your issue sounds as though it is the power supply that is in need of replacement.
If there is a steady red light on then the PC unit is not getting it -12/+12/-5/+5 voltage at the connectors also you may have inadvertently switched the cable connections that is pin 1 of the cables is not getting the voltage it needs to the device.
The red line on the cable or the (+) is the supply pin to that device.
1. check the power supply and all the connectors.
2. clean all dust from the inside of the the connector and around the CPU
3.check the CMOS battery (looks like a new quarter) should show 3.7 volts with a volt meter. If readings are below this you need replacement.
I hope this helps. Have a great day!

Hi,

Might be some problem with adapter. verify output voltage of the adapter with multimeter. If no output then replace your adapter.

AKAI 32" LCD HDTV WILL NOT TURN ON

The only solution at this point would be to get the power supply repair since new boards are not longer being manufactured. In about 95% of the time if the LCD doesn't power up or turns OFF by itself or need to be unplug for some time to make work again; those are the symptoms of a dying or defective power supply.
I service these power supplies, for more info write to jah2mil@hotmail.com
