Question about GE Energy Star WCVH6260F Front Load Washer
We just installed a GE WCVH6260 washer. It was purchased over a year ago but hadn't been installed until this past weekend. It worked great for the first five loads. Then it would start, do its couple spins, unlock the door, relock the door then stop and do nothing. The door remained locked. I've cleaned out the filter (there was nothing in it since it is only five loads old). I've disconnected the power for about 20 minutes. This got it working again until it tried to drain. Then it stopped and all the LEDs on the front went blank. It would periodically run the pump for about 3 seconds. Water would gush out of the discharge hose then stop when the pump stopped. A red light flashed briefly on the LED panel but otherwise it stayed dark, except for the door locked light. Help!
Try buttons "dry" & "spin" together for a few seconds. This is the child lock display.
Or press "end of cycle" for over 5 seconds.
Or press "options & select" till the light goes off.
Works for other machines..............And please rate me if helped.
Check your drain with a good pour of water from a bucket, it must clear fast. It it doesn't snake it out; the prob lies there 99%. And don't push your exit hose too deep into the standpipe, 4 to 5 inches & not air tight.
