Office outlook program is not working

Generally if any program failed to get start means software corrupted. So, Uninstall and reinstall. If it still not open then go to C;drive - Document and settings- your user profile will be there, open it- find Application data(if not then folder option-show hidden files)-find office outlook folder in ms office - find profile file delete it. Restart Outlook. If u understand this it will definetly help u. But if u r not then u need a expert help manually. Thanks

I need to install microsoft word but it is already in my comp but

You need to first uninstall the program (ms office)[if it's ms office 2003, as soon as you start installing the new ms-office 2007, it'll automatically upgrade to ms-office 2007].
I don't know whether you know how to uninstall programs or not, but let me give you the hints..
Click "Start" > "Control Panel" > "Programs" [add/remove programs on windows xp] now highlight the "Microsoft Office..." and click "Uninstall" button and follow the onscreen instructions. Restart your computer and again install the Microsoft Office 2007 using the set up file. If in case, you can't uninstall the program due to faulty/error/missing files, download this program ccleaner install it and run. Now click "Tools" and from the uninstall lists select/highlight the "microsoft office..." and cick "uninstall". If you still have the same problem, please let me know.

Good luck

Thanks for using FixYa.

My office suite asks for an acceptance of the EULA every time I open an application. I transfered it from another computer which I owned and uninstalled it from there. How can I eliminate this annoyance?

there is a possibility of the Trialware Activation option still being on your computer.. go to Control panel -- Add/Remove or Programs and Features.. and search for Activation Ms-Office.. the best option from my side would be uninstall MS-Office completely off ur computer using Revo Uninstaller.. for that go to google and search REVO UNINSTALLER free version.. and uninstall everything from MS-Office completely and then reinstall MS-Office and I am sure the issue would be resolved.. need help let me know :-P regards Guru

My ASUS laptop has suddenly starting typing incorrect characters. I have turned off the sticky keys and toggle keys; I have made sure the NumLk key is off; I have made sure the US settings are one. I can't...

i would suggest re-installing word, or better the whole of MS office. when uninstalling first, if the uninstaller asks: remove all previous user settings, so the new install of office won't take over the faulty settings from the previous install

To uninstall the Office suite do the following:
  • Click Start
  • Go to Control Panel
  • Open Add/Remove Programs or Programs and Features (for Windows 7)

Microsoft Office Outlook often fails to open. I

Make sure you have all of the critical and important patches for both your operating system and MS Office/Outlook. If you continue having these problems after being fully patched, go to the Add/Remove Programs (XP and earlier) or Programs and Features (Vista) applet. Select MS Office (if you have the full Office installation) or MS Outlook (if you have the standalone Outlook installation). In Vista, select Change otherwise select Uninstall (which should open a dialog offering to Repair or Uninstall the application(s)). Select Repair and click Next to let it do its thing. A reboot may be required when it has completed its work. You also may need to reapply service packs and patches so make sure you visit Windows Update, Microsoft Update, and/or the Office Update websites as soon as possible.
