The reason your your fax journal maybe blan is caused by 3 possibilities, the first being a possible power failure, the second being the unit had been unplugged from it's power source and the third being that the unit has been reset to factory defaults.
Your machine has the Easy Receive function. Although it's enabled, there's another setting the turns the feature ON, OFF, SEMI. To set the machine to automatically accept/print ALL faxes, do the following:
Press Menu, 2, 1, 3. you will see 3.Easy Receive in the window
Use the <--> keys to change from OFF to either ON or SEMI (in your case you want the feature fully enabled so change it to ON)
Your machine should now accept and print faxes automatically.
You can either view, or print the transaction reports. The machine should print out automatically after 32 transactions, or you can print manually. To print out manually after each transacton, from the control panel select "function", 6, 1, set key. Pesssing key 1 will print journal, pressing key 2 will let you view journal. To set the printing of transaction report for all sent faxes, you can get into the fax parameter setting #13, and scroll to your selection using the up (^), or down keys.
