Question about Fisher and Paykel 24 in. DD603H W Built-in Dishwasher
Hi there our Fisher and Paykel DD603 blew the circuit board and the power lead to the top drawer, these have been replaced but there is no display on the fron, it will not turn on, where do I check next please?
This looks like an old question, but for the sake of refference I will respond to it..
On your dd603, the heater plate in the bottom of the drawer acts as a dropping resistor in the power supply circuit. The main computer is often replaced incorrectly when the the machine is "dead". The correct procedure is to check the heater plate first and there are several resistance tests that are done at the connector for the heater plate. Usually the overload on the plate itself is blown out. This will cause a dead machine.
Some of the other experts object when we say "You should get a service manual" but that advice is warranted here.
