DVD drawer will not open (Liteon LVW5045B)

I have a Liteon DVD recorder model LVW5045B. This was bought in Germany and given to me as a present. The manual suggests to contact the local dealer. There is no dealer in my country.

I tried to open the case and look for something similar to the pin hole found on a computer DVD so I could insert something in it and open it. There is nothing similar.

How can I solve this problem? Please help.
