I'm thinking that you're looking for a NIC driver. Do you know what make it is? Also, what OS are you running. If you're not aware, all NIC's have their MAC addresses stamped on them and each MAC address is specific to a manufacturer.

No ethernet cable connected


Im not sure what you mean if the ethernet cable is not connected ?

You will have to open up your network connections. Click start control panel network connections this may vary depending on your operating system look for local area connection if you see a red x or a yellow exclamation or question mark you will need to update or install the driver or it could be firewalled. Click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager look for network adapters + expand Ethernet driver if you see a yellow Question / Exclamation mark ? ! or a Red X you will need to update/reinstall the driver for the device Make sure you Ethernet/internet is enabled in bios. Speedstream 4100, can't download internet service cause pc there isn't any modem. The driver Intel R 82562V 10/100 network connection is missing and when i try to download it i can't get it. ...


make sure your its enabled in your bios
during the boot process you will see on your screeen to press acertain key to enter set up press and hold that key to enter set up

using arrow keys navigate to intergrated peripherals press enter look for SiS 10/00 press enter make sure ethernet its enabled
press f10 save to cmos
restrart your computer
if this fails to fix the problem

the driver for this modem should be on the motherboard disk or the disk provided by you ISP internet service supplier

I want Encore ( Model : ENDSL-A2+R2 ) Driver For USB For x64 ( Windows XP and Windows 7 )


This is an Ethernet based modem. As a result, no drivers are required, since you are connecting to it via Ethernet connection.

Ive installed win xp on my aspire 4520, but some driver are missing like SM Bus controller,co processor, and 3 base system device. please help

Sir/Madam I am having a BSNL Broadband connection with a SIEMENS C2110 Modem.But I can't install the USB Driver.I have tried every possible ways,but to no avail.I can't even run the installation...

It is the problem with your OS and not with your modem, You need to repair or reinstall your Operating System agin to get the modem install.

Reinstalled windows xp now it says no modem detected


probably need your ethernet card reinstalled on your pc. right click on my computer and goto properties, then click hardware and device manager- you will probably have a yellow ! or ? by "ethernet controller"
you will need to goto the manufacturer of your computers website to download the driver on a diff computer and install it on yours.

Acer Aspire 5100series laptop - modem stopped working


Go to add and remove programs and delete updates. Then go to device manager and roll back your drivers for your modem. see if this will do the trick!!!
