When driving no voice, check sound is fine

If you're just driving around and you haven't selected navigate to a destination there will not be a voice. Try navigating to a destination as that is where you will get voice navigation suggestions or commands. If you don't get a voice then, perhaps you need to download a voice or two. This can be done using the Garmin Express software and a computer connected to your Nuvi using the USB cord.

Why doent my gps speak s

The things you'd want to check first are:
1. the volume of your speaker is not turned off ...
2. your GPS (navigation) software supports voice navigation - directions /commands ...
3. you have (installed & selected) a navigation voice (e.g. standard or computer voice)
4. you have done a "reboot" ... or "hard reset" ... to start the software up again.
If all of these are OK ... and you previously had heard navigation voice on your GPS ... but suddenly, there's no more navigation voice, then it is possible that the navigation software (voice portion) got corrupted. If that's the case, you would want to try to restore your software from backup (using HOME), or download a copy of the navigation software from (for your device type/class) and install it.

I have a Magellan Maestro 4250 and touch screen not responding

Yes. The hard reset is the little pinhole on the left. Just use a pin and poke it. It should bring everything back to factory default and all saved info, addresses, routes etc. will be deleted.

New route

From Delphi tech support:

NAV200 SD Card Reformat

Customer reports that the NAV200 has lost its voice prompts and/or constantly reads NEW ROUTE.

Reformat SD card from FAT-32 to FAT. And replace files on SD card with back up files from DVD-ROM.

Reason for Problem:

The navlib.ini file located in the navigation files (in mnav) is missing from the SD card. It is located in mnav in the back up files found on the DVD-ROM
