My canon pixma mp220 printer will not print, it comes up with printer is offline and i cannot print, have checked the cable too. it still will not let me print anything

There may be two kinds of problems i.e hardware problem or software problem.

1.Software problem:
If you have not installed your driver of printer properly. Then it shows this kinds of message .Please check from device manager if it is healthy or not.

If there is problem then repair it by using driver cd

2.Hardware problem.
if there is hardware problem i.e. printer then the printing message sent by computer is not listened by your printer.
For that you can check it in hardware repair center.

Printing Direct to CD using Roxio EMC10 and HP All in One C5280

Solved by trial and error.
I went through every type of paper and printer combination listed in the Printer Preferences and eventually found a system compatible with Roxio EMC 10.
This by setting "Commercial Paper" and Neato 3-Disc Paper.
Whilst this is probably the incorrect way to do it, it has solved the problem and I can now print directly onto CD via my HP C5280 All in One Printer.

Tip. If you set Print preview before printing you can determine what the finished article will look like without having to wast numerous Discs trying.

Sister has VISTA and HP 6100 series all in one printer with driver installed. When she prints it states ''offline'' and must install 2nd version off net called ''copy1'' to print...until next time.

First : when you install the driver with the cd that follows the printer you must not insert the usb to the printer at once, but wait to the cd ask you to put the device in(the usb)

Second : If you use a different USB port every time you use the printer it will try to install the software again.

Hope thats helps :O)

Roxio Label Creator won't print labels (blank with scissors)

Go to the label creator in your Roxio 6, Click on EDIT, then click on PREFERENCES, go to the DISC tab and unclick the "Print Disc cut Lines" and the "Print Disc outline" boxes. This should fix your problem.
