I have e05 message then an err 002 message, not sure how to fix. Is it possible the prongs are bent were the CF vard is input

Error 002 says memory card is full. Try to delete the card or reformat the card and observe
if camera wont allow to format the card. Try plugging it to a computer or laptop that hs Memory card slot and can read SD/MMC cards and format the card from the laptop

PS2 STATES THAT MEMORY CARD IS NOT IN SLOT, BUT IT IS.

THis is simple. Either your memory card has not enough room, the memory card is broken or the slot you are putting it in is broken. Try putting it in the other slot.

Can not insert memory card

If this phone is new, there may be a dummy card that is in the slot for protection. remove the dummy card before you insert a real card. If the phone is not new and you have inserted one before, there may be an obstruction blocking the slot or, the cooper prongs are bent.

Card has wrong format?

The first thing you will have to check the card. There is slot on the card that contains a switch. This will lock the card so that it is write-protected. This will cause the unsupported card error.

If the card looks fine, try a card reader just to confirm that the card has not been corrupted.

If the card is functional and you can read its contents from the PC or another SD-slot device, then the issue is your camera. The slot contains thin copper prongs that comes in contact the copper surface on the back of the SD card. If the prongs are bent or damage, then the camera cannot read your card.

I don't have manual to eMonster 1000B to find illustrated procedure to install more memory. Can you direct me to an illustrated guide?

if you open up your tower and look on the motherborad there should be eather two or three slots for your memory, sometimes they put a total of four slots, you will have to determine witch way the memory card has to go in there is only one way that it goes in . if you are replaceing one then there are white prongs on eather end you will have push down on to pop out the other memory card out .

hope this works for you

Broken prongs where memory card seats.

Hey jarapo,
There are many repair centers you could bring your camera to. I would suggest either contacting Canon and finding an authorized service center in your area, or you could bring it to a Geek Squad® precinct in a Best Buy™ store and they could send it out for service. I hope this helps!

Sincerely,
Allan
