Welcome to FixYa. If there is a sewing machine dealer in your area, I would take the machine in and ask if they have a generic foot pedal. If they do, make sure you can insert it into your machine. If that fails, go to the manufactures website. I've included a link to the page that lists the accessories and parts for their sewing machines. If nothing is listed (your machine is discontinued), don't give up. Call their cust svs department and ask if your machine is compatible with a specific generic foot pedal, or with another brand of machine for which you can buy replacment parts. Just make sure you don't pay more for replacement parts than you would for a new machine:)

I am getting error message E4 when foot pedal is plugged in. Unplug the foot pedal and the machine goes back to normal with the exception that you really can't sew without the foot pedal.

Your reverse reinforcement stitch button was pushed or needle position was pushed while bobbin winder was moved to the right. You can download a free manual brother-usa.com and you will see all of the troubleshooting and error messages there

Beginner on a sewing machine just got a Euro- Pro from my aunt having a hard time getting it to sew something. I threaded it and ready to go now it wont sew soooo what might be wrong with it?

See if you can find your model here and refer to the instructions to see if you missed something when you threaded the machine - http://www.sewusa.com/Sewing_Machine_Threading_Diagrams.htm

Always thread a sewing machine with the presser foot up so the thread enters the tension so it will properly work when the foot is down for sewing.

Check the needle to be sure it is inserted correctly - this is usually with the flat side facing the back of the machine.

Hold onto the thread tail at the needle and handwalk the needle down and back up, which will bring up the bobbin thread.

Hold onto both threads and pull them under the presser foot and to the back of the machine.

Place the fabric under the presser foot. Lower the foot and move the needle down into the fabric - press the foot pedal.
