Question about OKI C5100n Laser Printer
The copy comes out with small black flecks of toner (?) scattered on the paper. Do I have a problem with the black toner or should I take the printer to a professional to get a cleaning? Could I do the cleaning myself? If so what are the steps?
IF you are using after market black toner then we found your problem. Putting a real toner on now wont help cause dodgy toner is now in the drum, you need to replace Black drum and use real toner. If you are using gen OKI toner, then just replace the Black (K) drum.
Clean led head and these printers dont need a teco, they are designed for wearing parts to replaced by operator ie Transfer belt, fuser, drums and toners.
