Question about Computers & Internet
I undid all the screws on the bottom, but i have a feeling that i may have to remove the keyboard--
i want to clean out the fan that is making alot of noise
Remove All Screws On Bottom Side Of Aspire... Flip Over Remove Keyboard.. Be Careful the Kayboard Is Attached to the board using a ribbon cable.. you need to lift the slider tab on the ribbon cable port to release the keyboard cable..... Once Keyboard Is Removed.. There are Screws Holding The TopSide Cover to the Bottom... usually 2 or 3... Remove them (label)..
Pull your WiFi cables through and unplug your Display cable,,, Unscrew the LCd Display From the Hinges and Set Aside...
THen You Can Pull The Top Case Bezel Away From The Motherboard and You Should Now Have Access To THe Fan and Heatsink.....
WHen Cleaning The Fan make sure to as well clean the Heatsink Fins... (use a toothbrush as it works the best...)
