Question about Viking 24 in. Professional Series VUD141 (Ultra-Premium) Built-in Dishwasher
The dial on my viking professional doesnt seem to advance. I can manually advance it to move the cycle. I read that I should check for a bad wiring connetion but dont know how to access behind the panel. Unit is 7 years old, first problem with it. Suggestions?
The timer has given it up. The motor has probably stopped working or the gears are jammed. You'll need to obtain and change the timer. Generally, there are face mounted screws that may or may not be behind some covers. Remove them to get to the panel that holds the timer.

Tips for a great answer:
Welcome to FixYa
that the Timer is stuck, as everything else is working fine in the unit and the
dial ust gets stuck and so won't complete the cycle so the problem is with the
Timer motor going bad and needs replacement. Please get back to me if you have
any other questions.
