Question about HP Compaq d530 SFF PC Desktop
Guys, I need help with my HP D530 SFF PC. It was working fine, but suddenly I was not able to connect to the internet. When I checked the Network connections, I do not see the connection icon I used to click. On the Device manager, I am unable to see the network adapter. When I went to the "Add hardware".. all I see are 3 types of adapters (all Microsoft). tried them all, but nothing. Can anyone help please.. how to re-install the network adapter...or is it damaged? Is it replacable?
L had similar problem: my techy said that the firewall was stopping the modem from getting an automatic ip address - having said that he fixed it. sorry l can't offer more detail than that
