Problem for Motorola RAZR V3

My razr presses buttons on its own

Ok i just got my motorola 2 days ago and out of no where about 2 hours after it was regestered and in working condition the fone starts to press buttons on its own. Its mostly 0 1's and 2's. And then it will call it. Also it presses other random buttons. Whats going on????

-   I do have the exact problem going on with my phone where it is dialling numbers all on its own, randomly, even while I'm having a conversation. I only just received this phone.

-   yeah my phone keeps on pressing 3s 4sand 5s, at first i thaught it was water damage so i tried throwingit inthe dryer and that didnt work so i need a solution-   stumped420

my 8 button works by itself too..so much now that i cant enter the sim on my fne and turn it on! help!!

Hello, I've just received my Razr v3 and received 2 sms, no idea from whom. Also, I want to turn OFF the itap, it drives me crazy. Can anyone tell me how and also about the sms that seem to come in from out of space. I do have to pay for every incoming msg. Thanks much, J

go as your going to create a message a mms message then hit the center of your navigational keys aftrwards you should see Entry setup click thre then go to Primary Setup and hit change.

my 4 key stuck on mine so i stuck it in the freezer hoping that the cold air would make the rubber connecter shrink and it worked.

i have a SE W710i an i am experiencing the same thing, but the buttons 4,6,0,left and the right soft key are the one malfunctioning. i tried cleaning it and try operating it with out the keypad and the membrane but still i keeps on happening. so i guess it was on the hardware being grounded i guess...

anybody heard about the keypad crystal? a stupid technician told me that it was the cause of the malfunction of the keypads. hope he was rayt. hope anyone respond to this problem of mine.

YES! MINE DOES THIS TOO! First it was 0s,1s, and 2s that would keep pressing on their own occasionally. I dealt with it for several months because it wasn't happening all the time. Recently it's been typing 8 and the down and messages buttons. Today it's done it constantly, nonstop. I can't even talk to people or text them because I can't talk or type through all the 8s! I tried opening it to see if there was sand stuck under the 8 or something, but it appears to be pretty clean down there. So, yeah. I'm a bit bewildered here. And frustrated. That too. =/
