Question about Acer Computers & Internet
Make sure the speakers are powered , if they have and AC adaptor: the volume on the speakers is turned up so that it's audible. if no power , no amplification.
Here are a few things that you can check to make sure sound is even turned on and drivers are installed:
go to your controll panel, click on system, select the hardware tab at the top, then select device manager.
scroll down to the section labeled "sound video and game controllers" click on the + to expand if neccessary.
if you see a yellow eclamation point ! next to your sound devices' listing , the software (driver) is either not present or corrupt which will cause the speakers not to work. If this is the case , you will need to navigate to Acers' website and download and install the proper drivers for your computer.
