I believe I broke the antenna connection on my Mintek TV.
We have a Mintek 37" LCD TV with built in DVD Player (model DTV-373-D). I attached the cable connection to the antenna connection too tight and when trying to remove it with plyers, the antenna connection came with it.
Could you please tell me if I did indeed break it (I was unable to rea-attach it) and then direct me to a repair center in the Birmingham, Alabama area that services your products.

Re: I believe I broke the antenna connection on my Mintek...
Definitively you broke the connector. Look in the internet the web site of Mintek. But since for a technician is not a big deal to fix, you can take that TV to ANY repair service, because is very easy to do it. I strongly recommend that.

Its not the power pack. The problem is with the dvd player which is also where the cable inputs converts through to the tv. if you are lucky enough to find a new internal dvd unit then you are in luck but I have'nt been able to. Your problem is an old isuues at least 2 years old...Sorry no Mintek tech support available.
As far as I know, no regular universal remote will work with the mintek TV/DVD's.
I have heard that the "Kameleon" remote, from radioshack works with them.
I had the same problem, so I ordered a replacement original remote from ebay for $20. It was the RC-600 for mine (DTV-265 26" LCD/DVD)
Had the same problem. After a couple of times of removing the DVD player and manuelly removing the DVD I called for a RMA and they fixed it, but they say the problem was that I had another DVD in the player. ???
I am having a problem with my DTV-373 also. I called QVC customer service and they gave me a number to call for service. My unit is under warranty also. When you call this number one of the promts is "Press 1 if you bought your product from QVC". The person will take your name and address. They will send a repair kit to your house. When you receive the kit you call the number back and they will send a service person to your house to fix it. Mintek has gone bankrupt but this service was hired to fix problems and cover warranty. QVC has done a great job with this. I am sorry I do not have the number in front of me at the moment.
