Re: tv problem

Your TV is telling you that the cable, antenna, or another input has no signal coming into it. When there is no signal, the set mutes itself to a blue screen to avoid your seeing "snow" on the screen. You need to check your connections. IF all are O.K., then your problem must be in the tuner or A-V input. Stargazer

Failed signal

Yes, check the cable as your tv's tuner does not receiving signal. The BLUE SCREEN on most of this brand means you have no signal from an outdoor signal or so. Thanks for using Fixya.

it is not seeing a signal the earlier days,"snow" would be evident but today the tuner signal lost results in a blue screen.check the cable signals and the cable box.
i would put cable from the wall directly into the set and see if there is a picture, and then check that it is not set to aux input with nothing connected

Durabrand TV/DVD dct1481

The blue screen is fairly common and is displayed when inadequate signal is present.
In other words, 'no reception.'

The weak BBC1 signal is kind of a confirmation of your poor signal strength.
