Question about Televison & Video

Open Question

DMREZ27 and 28 goes dead with U99.

First Z27 died in two weeks. Got it replaced. Second one died in about two months, same thing. eats disc and goes U99. Got it fixed by factory, lost use three weeks. After being fixed, used it for four months and it dies. sameo sameo. Sending that one back. Bought a Z28 model thinking (what was I thinking) they fixed the problem, right? Wrong. Brought it home and it died within 48 hours, first time we tried the program feature. going back to store for refund. Going to Sony or something else. Panasonic doesnt seem to give a rats ****. Taking my money somewhere else and they can just add to the lay offs.

A U99 error code signifies a general communications failure and is not associated with any specific problem. It could even be related to the firmware version of your DVD recorder.

Try turning off the power and unplugging off-unplug for at least five minutes before reconnecting.

If U99 reoccurs, you should contact the Global Service Center Network for assistance.

Good luck!

Find how long you can keep food in the freezer after you have bought it?

Most things can last several weeks. Many foods do just fine for several months. But all foods start to lose flavor. In particular, prepared products like, say, chicken nuggets or French fries, things high in oil content and lower in water content, will stay tasting the same longer. As will most meat. But there are many exceptions. For example, frozen concentrated juice and chicken broth should last quite a while, like six months or much longer. Don't worry about it; as the weeks go by, just try to be a good home economist and choose to eat older items from the freezer first rather than exactly what you might want to eat for a particular meal.

Bad battery! if it goes dead while just sitting. A good battery should last for weeks if not months as long as there isn't a constant drain on it.

SOUNDS LIKE YOU NEED BOTH THE ALTERNATOR AND THE STARTER TESTED.THE CAR SHOULD STAY RUNNING OFF THE ALTERNATOR ONCE BOOSTED,IT SHOULD START OFF THE BATTERY WHEN FULLY CHARGED.

Battery will not fully charge but will run with partial charge

Two things can be wrong, first your batts may be old and need new ones. Have them load tested at an auto part store. Most powerchairs use two 12 volt batts. If you batts are good you should have between 12.5 and 13.5 volts on a surface charge and 11.5 to 12.5 on a load test charge. Second, if you had your chair stored away for a couple of months then your batts died and need to be replaced. If you are luck a "boost charge" might work. If you are planing to keep it stored for months at a time, you must charge the chair once every couple of weeks to keep batts fresh.

Errors F03 et error U99

After months of U99 errors, I was able to fix my unit by reinitializing the defaults while using a CD-R with a firmware fix downloaded from the internet. Power the unit down, press Skip/Rev + Time Slip + Open/Close for 5 seconds. The CDR should be in the disc drive as you do this.
