check the phone book entries...possible the names are appearing twice in the phonebook...or the format in which nos are saved could be diff from the format of numbers u get message ...eg : u might have stores only no and when u recieve msg it might come with a 0 or country code too
When it comes through it usually comes with the area code and number correct? that is the way you have to save it. Look at the number and if it has the 1+ area code+ number that is the way the phone rconises it and that is the way it needs to be saved. I always save mine to phone instead of the sim since it gives you more options in the phonebook.

you have a manual for the phone? good for you. mine didn't come with any manual. anyway, to fix your first problem you have to add your country code number to the numbers in your contacts list. If you are in the US that will be "1". To transfer your music files, you have to find the location of your files in your hard drive and then copy that to the "Music" folder in your phone's drive. To find the location of a particular song in windows xp media player, right-click on the song and click on "Open file location". Goodluck with your phone. I'm loving mine, except the fact that i can't watch tv on it after they convert to digital...oh well.
