The orange light keeps flashing and it says there is a paper jam but I cleared the paper jam but the orange flashing light will not go off.

1. there is a sensor at the end of the printer which shows paper jam recovery. the sensor of your printer may be jammed. clear the jam and it will work. 2. if not, there may be a small piece of paper near the sensor of your printer. clear it.

Papers go through the printer crooked and jam - can't print. Any suggestions?

The most likely cause is a something restricting the even feed of the paper. I assume that you have opened up the cover and other access points to clear any small pieces of paper or other foreign particles.
Try doing a test print onto thick stock paper. Often this clears the obstruction. If this does not fix the problem, the chance is that the feed wheels are not turning freely and you will have to have the printer serviced at a repair station, unless you want to try to disassemble the printer and attempt to fix the problem yourself.
Please let me know if this helps fix the problem. Thanks.

Hi. I have a paper jam in my Photosmart 7760

1.unplug the power from printer to reboot it
2..if the lights flashing like woof said check for jammed paper or sticky label inserts in the back door of the printer.
4.clean the circuit bit of the cartridge (sometimes a thin film of ink can stop the circuit)

Weird noise from printer carriage

The loud clicking noise is probably the carriage trying to move and something is keeping it from doing so. Check to see there are no foriegn objects obstructing the carriage head from moving across the paper. If nothing is found, then likely a hardware error exists.
hope this helps!
