Unless someone stripped the documentation from the product, there's a set of manuals and a CD with programming software in the box. In a system as complex as this, couldn't you at least take the time to open one or the other and read? At the very least, start at page 10 of the PROGRAMMING manual (PT programming) and it will tell you how to set the date and time. Pay attention to system programs 400 and 408-410. That's where you tell the sytsem how many lines and where they ring.
Press "clock" and hold for a few seconds. It will say the day. If the day is wrong, use the arrow keys to move either forward or backword through the week. When the day is set press "clock" again and you will hear the hour. Press the arrow keys to move the hours. Press again for the minutes and use the arrow keys to set the minutes. Last press "clock" again and set AM or PM. By the way, the manual does not tell you how to set the clock.
The trick is to set the time and never have anyone call you :-)
Or, contact whoever your CID provider is and tell them the clock offset is wrong. In my case, I have a Packet8 box and I had to go in and make the time correct for my time zone. Access instructions were on their web site.
Do you have the manual for the phone system or the voice mail? If you are looking at a phone system manual, most do not contain any details on voice mail settings because you can have different voice mail systems attached to your system. Just like your computer manual would not contain much information about the printer you purchased separately.
