Question about Panasonic Televison & Video
My father, who is now 98 years old, has a panasonic unit and we do not have a manual to understand how to control the temperature so that it works continuously throughout the night. It slows down at 2am and it later continues but it creates a situation where the increased temperature causes him to sweat and wake up. The control unit is not a simple one for a senior member of our society. It is also very small and with his failing eyesight it is difficult for him to use.
1. There is a 'dry' mode on the control unit. He is using 'cool' mode. What does the dry mode do? Could this solve the problem?
2. Does a large control unit exist for senior persons. My father thinks the engineers are not taking into consideration the needs of senior members. He has a large control unit for his TV set. Can you find a large control unit for his AC?
3. Is there a phone number I can reach you at?

SOURCE: AC WILL NOT SHUT OFF
SOUNDS LIKE THE T-STAT TEMPERATURE SENSING BULB IS OUT OF "AIR-FLOW" (SOME CAN COME LOOSE FROM THEIR MOUNTING CLIPS) OR IT IS BAD ALL TOGETHER ... MOST MANUFACTURERS HAVE A ONE-YEAR WARRANTY ON SMALL PARTS AND 5 YEARS ON THE COMPRESSOR .., HOPE IT HELPED.

I don't have the book for this particular unit but, check the sequencers that control the electric heat mode, as the regulator heat pump works good. The part may have a time or temperature delay that is too long for you. Also if it has a remote thermostat, check the heat anticipate setting. You will have to check the installation manuel, but its usually .6 to .8, but I don't think that is the problem.

SOURCE: Master Remote Control codes
My sincerest apologies, I am not familiar with either the Strand Master 3 in 1 remote control or the Bush Television RF2185NTSIL/A.
However, a quick Google disclosed that a great many TV sets use the code 0065, 065 or 584.
Additionally, you can try 0742, 0157, 246, 263, 377, 037, 064, 065, 310, 300, 383, 399, 391, 402, 547, 292, 239, 312, 609, 322, 339, 515, 236, 389, 035, 191, 232, 245, 064, 0377, 0037, 0064, 0310, 0300, 0383, 0391, 0402, 0547, 0292, 0239, 0375, 0312, 0609, 0389 and finally 0339.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.
Thank you for using FixYa.
