HI. MY PRINTER KEEPS SAYING " BLACK TONER SUPPLY ERROR". I DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS, I CAN'T FIND IT IN THE TROUBLESHOOTING SECTION.!! I JUST CHANGED THE BLACK INK CARTRIAGE AND THAT INK WASTE STORAGE THING. MY CYRAN COLOR IS LOW, I DON'T THINK THAT HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT. WHEN THE ERROR COMES UP IT WONT PRINT, I HAVE TO TURN IT OFF FOR A COUPLE SECONDS THEN BACK ON REPRINT IT THEN IT WORKS, HOWEVER THERE IS A LIGHTER INK BAR RUNNING VERTICAL THE WHOLE PAGE AND ABOUT 2" WIDE. PLEASE HELP. THANK YOU
For anyone with a similar issue viewing this page (like me), first take a look at this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ipw1RjwzUDg You want to follow those instructions and see if they work for you. If they don't, which they probably won't, take a look inside the black toner transfer unit (by removing the metal plate with the 5 screws, see video for further instructions), if the transfer unit is empty then this probably means the printer does not supply enough toner to the transfer unit. You could compare the amount of toner inside the transfer unit with that of another colour and you'll will probably find that there is comparatively barely any black toner in there. A temporary fix would be to manually add toner to the transfer unit by simply pouring it in there, after which the printer should print perfectly again. You might need to actually drill a hole in the black toner cartridge or buy a toner refill kit. Of course this is only a temporary fix and you'll have to do it again once you get the same error message. Unfortunately I'm not yet aware of a permanent solution.

The error says that the black cartridge e-label is missing. Pull the black toner and make sure packing tape isn't covering it up. Compare the black toner to one of the other ones to make sure that it isn't missing the e-label. If you put the old black back in the printer, does the error go away?
Click here to visit Brother Official Support & Download page for DCP-7030. User Guide, Troubleshooting information etc are available. You can also search for specific issues from the troubleshooting section. The most important point as far as routine mainenance is concerned is I think keeping the printer clean, using good quality paper and genuine supplies/toner. Let me know if any further clarification/ assistance is required.
Machine is still saying to exchange toner because toner is not feeding into the machine.
to supply the toner always do this,
1-insert the new toner bottle in the toner section and close the cover.
2-Press "Utility/Counter" Button.
3-click on "USER CHOICE" or "USER SETTING"
4-click on "Toner Supply"
5-Toner bottle will start moving and hence the error message will not appear again.
This means the toner chip is damaged or missing or
can't be read from the printer. If you have changed the toner recently,
or have a third party toner in it. You need to replace the toner and if
the error is still there then you know it is the reader failing.
C0F36 error means abnormally low toner density detected Black ATDC Sensor. Check for the black toner and try reinstalling the cartridge if replaced already. And if the toner crtridges are empty then replace the cartridge.

Okay, I had the same problem with my C3300. I phoned the people i purchased from and this is what fixed it for me:
looking directly at the printer:
-remove drum in question (the drum is what houses the toner cartridge) in my printer it is black.
-look on the right side of the drum & there is a little (approx 5mm
x 5mm) hole that has a little panel that opens- push this up to open it.
-replace drum close the top and try printing.
I had to do this 2 times before it worked, but it worked.
My printer at work kept saying it was low on black toner. I finally replaced when I got the message Black toner supply error. I gave it a minute or two to adjust itself and when that didn't work, I turned off for about ten seconds and then restarted it. I've only had two problems with this printer and I have had to turn it off both times before it would work perfectly, if that helps anyone.
