My pc says no audio output device installed,but in device manager it says its working properly and the drivers are up to date


Well it is possible that the audio driver installed is not the one compatible with you computer board. Try downloading the specific driver needed for your computer's official website. This should solve your problem.

Please specify whether you have a sound card or an onboard audio device. Specify the type of Desktop PC you have. Modern types use the HD Audio type (High Definition Audio codecs) so they are not easy to identify audio devices on them.

Look in the windows device manager for an entry with a exclamation mark.
Dubbelclick it and let it search for a driver.

No sound on computer


It means no audio driver is installed on your PC. That is the audio device that it is referring to. The audio driver installer came with your motherboard support CD. If it is no longer available you can download realtek audio driver online for free.

Right click on it, press update driver.
Select "No, not this time", click Next
select install software automatically, Next
Vista should find the driver online.

My audio output is blocked . message appears - no audio output device is installed . earlier it was working well.


Try reinstalling the audio drivers,maybe computer viruses have deleted the same.
