Luckily you had a Dell. Using your Dell Service Tag you can all the drivers you need. Just go to the Dell Support web site
Support Dell US
Select support by product
Enter you Dell Service Tag
Select Drivers and Downloads
You can also use the link to download User Guides or see the computers original configuration. Since it's a GX 260 you don't need to see if the desktop is still under warranty

If this is happening on all workstations you should look at your network settings and verify that your DNS settings are correct. Also look in the error logs on the server to see if it is fillingup with system or application errors.

Have you tried this website:

I just went to dell and did a search on gx260 and then I clicked on manuals.

Goto DELL's support website and enter your service tag number (little sticker on the back of your DELL, it is also on a little sticker in the front under the grey flap, the back one is easier to read). You will be able to download the drivers from there. Since your ethernet card is not working you will also have to download this from another computer.
DELL's support site is great for getting drivers for your DELL machines. It is one of the reasons I recommend people buy DELL computers. I feel like they have the best support site,, but that is my opinion.
