Question about Intel Server Board S5000PSL - Motherboard - SSI EEB 3.6 - 5000P - LGA771 Socket - UDMA100, Serial AT...
I WANT UNQUIE CPU ID NUMBER FOR MY CPU 1.60 GHZ INTEL PENIUM DUAL PROCESSOR SERIAL NO: MS1C83S12P02322.
PLEASE GIVE ME SOLUTION TO FIND. WHICH WOULD BE USEFUL IN EVENT OF THEFT. ..
OK you will need to enable the CPU serial number feature in the bios (if your bios supports it)
You can download the Intel Processor Serial Number Control Utility from Intel here: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?strState=LIVE&ProductID=24&DwnldID=823&agr=Y&lang=eng&PrdMap=24
let me know if this info helps
Note: Check bios first for option because the utility above may not work if the option is disabled in your bios. (if your bios does not have that option then utility should work fine by itself)
