I have a web cam I bought from Future Shop, and it won't accept any file name.It will not work without a file name.Every one I talkto says all you do is load the disk and it will work. Please help,I've had this web cam since oct.
Best to start from scratch, remove your driver if it's installed from Add/Remove programmes.
Make sure your cam is dissconnected and try the driver from this site:- http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df-external/Product_Filter.aspx?ProductID=349&lang=eng
Install driver and then connect camera when prompted.
Although I don't know what you mean by "won't accept any file name"; make sure that you install correct driver for your operating system.

you just need to install virtual cam then
go to manycam dot com and download manycam
install it and select video source your web cam
now you can broadcast your cam on everywhere like skype, yahoo, msn, gtalk etc
by select manycam as your primary cam
good luck
Open messenger, click on messenger name top left. Then click on my web cam. When web cam
screen opens click on file, then preferences, then camera source.Make
sure camera source shows name of the web cam your using. If not select
from drop down list.
You may not be able to copy the videos other than the one captured in the Camera, as the Camera file system will not accept the file format of other video recordings. The File error message displays when you try to copy or edit the files in the Memory Stick. This may cause all the other images to be corrupted. I suggest that you do not copy the files to Memory Stick which will damage the images already captured in the Camera.
The Camera will not accept the files even if the file names are different as the Camera creates its own file name for videos recorded in it. You may try copying the videos to the folder in the Camera where the movies are recorded with the same file name of the videos. However, this is not recommended.
Here it is... just click the file...and click " save " to start
download....using winrar (and or winzip), extract the file and install
driver for your web cam
if your current o.s. recognized your device and it installed the required driver then you dont need the installer disc, but if windows required the disc you have no choice but to use the installer disc, you wont be able to use your device unless you installed the device driver
Probably a bend, or broken, or 'pushed in' pin in the CF slot. Its a costly Sony Service shop repair In future get a camera without all those delicate pins! (SD)
For Stingray 330V only IMPORTANT: This driver only
works if your camera serial number begins with 330V.
