Enable portforwarding on your router and type in any name for your ndvr and the port number that you need to use for your ndvr to access it and the IP address of your ndvr(local IP)

where to check the port? ask you ndvr vendor for the port range that need to open on your router
local IP? assign IP local IP to your ndvr make sure you assign static IP for it.
make sure your enable port triggering and type in the port range for your ndvr.

im happy to hear more from you

When I try to access my cisco e1000 router on firefox or google it keeps saying that it is busy and will not connect

Are you trying to access the setup page of the router?
Did you install the Cisco connect software on your main computer?
If you have cisco connect software installed then open Cisco connect.
Go to Router settings. Click on Advanced settings. It will open the setup page of your router.

If the cisco connect is not installed then try to power cycle the router. Unplug the power to the router, wait for 30 seconds. Plug in the power cable. Wait for 30 seconds.
Now try to access the setup page.

If that is also not working then I will suggest you to reset the router and reconfigure it manually.

Hi, you don't connect to the DG-HDMP500TT from your desktop.

The device connects to the wireless so you can access the internet from the device and only for limited sites like youtube etc.

Network path not found

I am not sure if your router is the problem here. Check the settings on your laptop.

Right-click My Computer
click Manage
click Services
scroll to Routing and Remote Access
left click Routing and Remote Access
click Properties
click (General tab) Startup type and select Disabled.
Also stop the service.

Also make sure that all computers belong to the same workgroup.

See if that corrects your Network path not found problem.

What do you mean by
"wireless printer is also not working"?
Does the printer work if it is connected to your router?
Have you checked the network settings on the printer (especially the IP address)?

If not, please let me know - come back here and leave a comment and a copy of your "ipconfig /all" output - I'm happy to help.

Just to verify, you are trying to connect from a computer external to your network to a computer on your internal network, right?

The error you mention is thrown if the name in the remote asstiance file cannot be resolved by DNS. Open the remote assistance file you generate in a text editor like notepad and then look for the value next to "RCTICKET=". This is name name & IP of the computer requesting remote assistance. If you're trying to connect from an external computer, make sure of the following:
  1. On your router, forward TCP 3389 to whatever IP you're trying to access
  2. That the hostname listed is able to resolved externally (it needs to have a fully qualified domain name list not just somehost'
  3. The IP address is not a private (192.168.x.x or 10.x.x.x) address but a publicly accessible IP address.
