create new user inj safe mode with networking take backup of your data which is in old user. to take back up got to c:\user\ ( YOUR USER NAME ). try to login with new user. still if you face same problem go with system restore.
1. Restart computer
2. Tap the F8 key
3. Arrow up to safe mode
4. Go into the Administrator account
5. If asked user name type in Administrator
6. Once windows open, go into the Control Panel
7. Double click on user accounts, click on your name
8. Select remove password
9. Restart computer.
hi... login to safe mode by tapping F8 before u seee the Windows Xp Splash screen... select the option SAFE MODE and wait for a while u ll get the desktop.. then go to USER ACCOUNTS in Control Panel.. and create a new user account... and delete the previous account.. While deleting Make sure to select the option DELETE ONLY ACCOUNT dont select Delete files k... The files from the previous acconut will be saved to the desktop of the new account..
If you have both sets of keyboard and mouse plugged in, turn off the computer and remove the old mouse and plug in the new mouse. Reboot and if necessary use the keyboard to login. Once windows is loaded let it detect the new mouse and then shut down again. Take out the old keyboard and reboot. You should now be able to use both new pieces without problems.
you may have a trojan / virus yes it will take forever to fix and restore by add remove./ /slowness/ Two things you can do new installation / lose all information. or you can go into choice menu while rebooting tap F8 key repeatedly if its not F8 ,F10, key or F6 key you will know when your there, at top of screen ,your first choice will be SAFE MOOD etc... use arrows and good to last known config that worked and press enter. now if that works and computer is still a mess hit programs asseriories system tools restore , create restore point and click on the calender, and pick a earlier date. if you do this correctly the computer will do the rest and reboot and restore .ALLOW COMPUTER TO DO ITS THING IT MAY GO BLANK, JUST LEAVE IT ALONE AND IT WILL BOOT UP BY IT SELF ONCE ITS COMPLETED IT CAN TAKE TIME. GOOD LUCK firstname.lastname@example.org
sometimes its a hardware driver software and OS driver software conflict on touchpad. if after OS installation the touchpad is already detected, no need to install the touchpad driver. try disabling the touchpad driver you installed. hope this helps
Seems like the program that controls your special keys (volume control) causes your computer to freeze!
I would recommend reinstalling the drivers/application for it. Try this download and let me know what happened: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-31502-1&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&os=228&product=435618
