Not detect USB device

1st You download Webcam Driver.
Usb not recognized
After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

You have to install the drivers which has come with the external floppy disk!!!

The driver for the usb controller may have become corrupted or simply disappeared. Try this:

Control Panel->System->Hardware->Device Manager.
Highlight 'USB Controller', right-click, choose 'Uninstall'.
Close Control Panel. Reboot.
Windows should re-detect the controller and re-install it's driver.

First check whether the built in Camera is recognized in the Device Manager window under Imaging Devices or USB Controller.

Windows + R Key, type devmgmt.msc to access Device Manager.

If the Built in web cam is detected in Device Manager, then uninstall the Camera Device by right clickin on the device and selecting Uninstall option.

Once you uninstall the Driver, you can download and install the Camera Driver from the following link:

Download and install the Driver in your Computer. Then reinstall the ArcSoft WebCam Companion from the following link:

Then restart the Computer and use the Camera.

If the Built in Camera is not detected in the Device Manager, it means Hardware issue and service would be necessary.

However, you can use a USB Camera and use it with the USB Port in your Computer.

To determine if your system is detecting the USB drive or not
Windows XP Right click "My Computer" >> Properties >> Hardware Tab >> Device Manager
Windows Vista/7 Right click "Computer" >> Properties >> Device Manager
If your USB drive is not detected at all either the drive is bad or the usb port is bad, I would try another USB port to rule out the issue being a port
If you see a ? or ! then your operating system had trouble installing a driver for it uninstalling and reinstalling the driver should resolve the issue

Fort hat you have to uninstall all usb drivers from computer then it automatic installed.
Right click on my computer icon then click on property then click on hardware then device manager.
In device manager you can see all driver list.Go to usb controllers then uninstall all usb driver 1 by 1 when you right click on usb driver click on uninstall.
Then restart computer then check.

For that you need to uninstall all usb driver from device manager.
Right click on my computer icon then you see system property then go to hardware -> device manager then uninstall usb drivers 1 by 1 .
Then restart computer then all usb drivers are automatically installed.
Then connect your harddrive if still face same problem then connect your harddrive to another computer then check.
If another computer cant see your harddisk then your harddisk has hardware issue.
It need repairing .
If it is in warrenty take it to service shop they replaced it.

I need software webcam only ..... HOW?

You can try making sure the cord is securly attached on both sides, and make sure the computer is recognizing the (assuming)scanner or all in 1. You might also want to try reinstalling the driver for the printer.

The issue could be due to corrupt USB Driver. I will give you a few steps to re-install the Drivers.
Please perform the following steps to uninstall USB Port.
1. Right-click on My Computer icon and select Properties.
2. Click Hardware tab. Click the Device Manager button and double-click the Universal Serial Bus Controllers.
3. Select a device listed under Universal Serial Bus Controller, right-click and Uninstall.
4. Click Yes to confirm the uninstallation of the device.

NOTE: Repeat step 3 and 4 until all the devices under Universal Serial Bus Controller are removed.

The USB port is now uninstalled. Now, restart the system. The system automatically detects and reinstalls the USB port.
