Question about Sony NWZ-E438F Digital Media Player
I plug my walkman to my laptop XP PRO and it does not read it. It makes that noise when it connects and then real quick it makes the other noise when it disconnects.
Was having the same problem. All I did was plug it into my usb port in my laptop, made sure HOLD wasn't on, and then hit the reset button. A few seconds later my computer recognized it. All the songs and everything I had on there previously are still all there. Hope this helps. :)

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
