Question about RCA P52960 52" Rear Projection Television
My name is Ben Catchings I have this TV, the RCA P52960 52" projection TV and I have the bowed picture problem. I've pulled the chasis and cleaned things up and but I'm not knowledgeable enough to figure out what the problem is exactly. If I knew what needed to be replaced I feel that I could solve the problem. Is there some advice or direction you could give me in regard to this problem?
I would greatly appreciate any assistance you may be able to share with me. Feel free to get in touch with me in any way you'd like. I'll leave my information below.
Thank you for your time,
I just read your post on fl231 comments. UNfortunately this only applies to the itc22 chasis

Normally this is either bad connections on the convergence ICs or defective ICs. If you can solder, you should be able to fix this. First locate the convergence ICs: large black ICs attached to a heat sink that shouldbe marked STKxxx. Try resoldering the pins on these ICs first. If that fails, replace the ICs.
Keep me posted.
