SOURCE: Access to Bosch dishwasher pump

To access the pump, first bail and sponge out any water in the machine's tub. Then tip the machine over on its front, using a heavy blanket or pad to protect the dishwasher's finish. Remove the back service panel. The pump is usually located along the bottom. Good luck!

SOURCE: Bosch Dishwasher Model SHU5316UC-06 -- what does

2H is not exactly an "error code", but it does indicate a problem. It means that the machine exceded its wash time by more than 2 hours. This is usualy caused by a failure of the heater, most often caused by a failure of the controll. Remove the control from the door, remove the plastic housing from the control, and check for a bad solder joint on the heater relay.
If you find a bad solder joint, REPLACE the controll.
Or call a qualified service person.

NOTE: The SHU53A dish washer with serial numbers from FD8205 to FD8507 are included in a factory recall. If your dishwasher is one of these contact BSH @ 1-800-586-9226 24/7.

Bosch dishwasher rinse aid and check water light flashing.

First you have to fix where the leak is coming from that tripped to E15 error code. You can reset by turning off power for 15 minutes.

An E15 error code indicates that the safety switch has detected water in the base of the dishwasher. Your leakage protection system has activated. What can I do to fix the E15 Error Code on my dishwasher?

I have a Bosch dishwasher model SHE43RL5UC/64. It gives error code "E1". It runs forever, doesn't get things clean, and doesn't dry.

May wish to call customer service number shown in online manual:

(I don't list numbers here because of fraudulent1 spammers who post on FIXYA to deceive.)

Bosch Silenceplus 44...just out of warranty... My dishwasher has an E 27 error code and will not start, anyone have any ideas?

In the instructions for different models of Bosch dishwashers, the e27 error is described as insufficient voltage in the electrical network. This means that if the mains voltage drops below 220V (or 110V in some countries), the dishwasher stops working, and the E27 error code appears.

What does Ho1 mean on the screen?

Some Bosch dishwashers have a time delay option. The H01 indicates a one hour delay has been selected. Press the Delay key several times until you see H00 in the display. Then try to start the dishwasher cycle you need. Bosch error codes tend to start with E.

Please add a comment with the model number of the dishwasher if you need additional help. (Without the model number, I can't be sure which key sets the time delay. On some models, the key is near the On/Off button. On others, it's closest to the Start button.) I hope this helps.

How to run self test on bosche dishwasher

Here is an excerpt from "Bosch Dishwasher Troublesoooting".

Running a Test Cycle
Bosch dishwashers have a test cycle which can be run as a troubleshooting measure. The method to run this test cycle is similar across the Bosch dishwasher range so if your dishwasher features seems different from those described below then try experimenting, as the process is fairly straight forward and will be very similar. Bosch dishwasher model numbers are usually found around the top or lip of the door. One of the most common differences between dishwasher models is simply the names of the buttons. For example in the first example below, POWER SCRUB PLUS and REGULAR WASH may be called WASH and ECO depending on your dishwasher model and the country you are in. The other key difference is whether your dishwasher has a display panel (which can display error codes) or not (in which case a program light will illuminate to tell you the fault.
To run the test cycle hold down the POWER SCRUB PLUS and REGULAR WASH buttons. Whilst held down press the ON/OFF button. The lights above them should flash. Now you can check the status of each dishwasher program by pressing its button. Now you can run the full test cycle = Press the POWER SCRUB PLUS and REGULAR WASH buttons again. The dishwasher will start up and when the cycle has ended one, if you have no display panel on your dishwasher model the indicator lights will illuminate if a malfunction was detected as follows -
CLEAN - A temperature sensor fault. If this is the case then the test cycle will be very short as the dishwasher will terminate the test once it's been detected.
RINSE/DRY - A water sensor/filling fault. If this is the problem then the test cycle will not complete as the dishwasher cannot detect the right level of water, the dishwasher will just keep filling and draining again.
WASH - A heating fault. Check your heating element.
If you do have a display panel on your Bosch dishwasher then after the cycle is complete an error code will be shown if a fault has been detected. The error codes are as follows -
0 - No errors have been detected.
1 - A water sensor/filling fault.
2 - A heating fault.
4 - A water filling fault. This can also appear as F on the display during a normal cycle.
8 - A temperature sensor fault.
When troubleshooting your Bosch dishwasher, running the above test cycle is a good start in diagnosing the problem and should give you an idea of where the problem lies with your Bosch dishwasher and what fixes and repair are in order. Our general troubleshooting page will give you some ideas on other things to check on your dishwasher. Good luck!
