Well the LCD or TV must have rca..jacks yellow video..red and white is audio..if not u can get a component jack wires for PS2..red.blue..green...video....red and white audio..the TV must have those connections ..for PS2..or get old school cable connected hook ups for PS2..hooks in cable or antenna connecter on TV..UHF connected for ps2
Well this might happen but not to worry. You can try out the steps yourself
You need to check that the input mode of the TV is just right for the connector in use on the playstation 3 computer entertainment system.
Check using another cable that is compatible with the PS2. Sometimes there might be a problem with the cable in use.
In few occasion the video settings on the play station 2 do not match those of the cable or TV in use. In that case there might not be pictures on the screen. If the screen goes blank, switch off the system.
After this, with only the PS2 and the TV connected, touch the systems' power button for more than 5 seconds to switch the system back on. The video output settings will automatically be reset to the standard resolution.
Try the system on another TV. If this doesn't yield any results, then you may need to get the console replaced.
If you can see video on the other TV set, try to connect the console to the TV directly, rather than through the A/V ports on your DVD player or HD converter box, as this can sometimes cause more harm than good.
there should be a swith on the box which plugs into the ps2 (about 3 inches into the wire) and some cables have the switch on the box that fits into the tv try flicking the switch this should do the trick
you need to hook up the ps2 directly to the tv not the converter box the converter box is only for digital Chanel's that will go off air on june 12 but if you have cable or satellite then you don't need a converter box this is only for free Chanel's with they don't requires subscription to cable or satellite your playstation should work with out the box try to hook it up directly to the tv not the box
You will need to go to your PS2 system configuration screen and change from RGB to YPbPr component video output. The 1920ex (remember to switch source to YPbPr) will then correctly recognise the signal from PS2.
