Don’t worry, you don’t have to reinstall the system. We’ll show you how to recover or reset your Windows password from a Windows Password Key CD.

This method works for all of the version of Windows-anything from Windows 2000 and later, basically. And yes, that includes Windows 7.
You’ll need:
1> a blank CD disk or USB flash drive.
2> a computer that can download from Internet .
3> a program that can recover Windows password-Windows Password Key

If you have a Windows Password Key CD,you can go to recover your lost windows password,Or you need to see the follow part which shows how to create a Windows Password Key CD.

Step 1:Free Download Windows Password Key 8.0 from the official website .

Step 2:Run the downloaded file to install. You can install it on any PC you have access to.

Step 3:Burn the program to a blank CD

It is easy to make a Windows Password Key CD,next,we’ll use the CD to reset Windows System.

1. Insert the newly created CD/USB to the locked computer.
2. Reboot the locked computer and press'F2'or'Delete'to enter your BIOS setup and then you will see the instruction as following.
3. Then you need to reboot the computher,Finally you will find your password has been removed.

Now you can regain access your Windows operating system and create a new administrator password. The best thing of using this method is that you shouldn't lose any data on your computer. Furthermore, If you can't find a computer which has a CD/DVD writer or the locked computer have no a CD-ROM, You can burn the ISO image file into a USB flash drive and use the USB flash drive to recover your Windows administrator password.
Try these three methods the next time you have lost Windows administrator password, which you do not need to reinstall Windows system for getting back to Windows by removing lost or forgotten password.

My Pc won't start and says reinstall a copy of Windows root system 32/hal.dll

This is happening when your operation system is corrupted and needs some siles that are missing ..and the only reliable fix is to reinstall it ..To do that you need a boot-able copy of the operation system ..and the drivers for the computer ..The drivers can be found on the manucfacturer's site or use the disc that came with the computer ..(usually for generic computers they provide disks with drivers..on sale ..)
http://il.packardbell.com/pb/en/IL/content/download
if it is a packard-bell , here is the support site for drivers;
The procedure is to insert the disk ..and take a good look on start cause it will show on the screen which button to press for to go on the boot menu ..and once in there select to boot from the cd /dvd ..and enter ..after that press any key to boot from cd when asked..
If this is not available or you can not get to the boot menu ...press del or f10 , if it is the case, to get to BIOS settings ..and in there look for the boot sector..and select using the arrows and enter button to boot from cd first ..(first boot device -cd /dvd )and after that save the settings using the f10 key and confirm with enter .
it will restart , and if the boot-able disk with the operation system is inside ..it will ask f\to press a key (any one ) to start boot from cd ..
Follow the installation process and the guidance on the bottom of teh screen and install the OS .or ..if it asks only to copy those files ..insert the disk and click enter and it may only take those files and work ...but ..my advice is to reinstall it clean and format C drive during the process ..cause this will be the safe way and avoid any issues.when you finish ..install all drivers one by one ..and all programs you may need..and an antivirus .
Please ask if you have any misunderstandings ..and do not forget to rate my answer...cause it affects my activity here .
If you do not have a disk with the OS ...borrow one ...or let me know and I will leave you instructions how to download and burn one ..(remember to specify the exact os you need )

Cd player will not work

make sure that the cd is getting enough power test all leads that are attached to the cd including electical extensions and make sure they have a secure connection or just replace them there might be bad/faulty or
your drivers may have been corrupted or you might have a virus run your antivrus program
you might have to physically unplug the leads for this cd/dvd burner then plug them back in or
you might have to uninstall then reinstall your DVD/CD or uninstall the driver then reinstall for this device
control panel admistrive tools, computer management, device manager scroll down cd dvd rom drives right click you can you can update driver, roll back driver,or
select properties general troubleshoot, select driver click to reinstall drivers click update driver or uninstall then reinstall
hope this helps
if this does not fix the problem it might be a registry problem

Click on the plus signs (+) next to the following folders

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

Computer wont bootup windows xp error loading operating system drive 1 not found please help me

1.Restart your computer. Immediately after the screen goes blank for the first time, press the F8 key repeatedly. The Windows Advanced Options menu appears. If the menu does not appear, restart your computer and try again. Use the cursor keys on your keyboard (your mouse will not work) to select Last Known Good Configuration, and then press ENTER. Windows XP attempts to start.

.
If you recently installed new hardware, shut down your computer and disconnect the hardware. Then, restart Windows XP and troubleshoot your hardware to get it working properly.
3.
Restart your computer and press F8 again. This time, choose Safe Mode and press ENTER. Windows XP attempts to start in Safe Mode, which does not automatically start programs and hardware, and displays very primitive graphics. If Windows XP starts successfully in Safe Mode, you can remove any programs or updates you have recently installed. Then, restart your computer normally.

Performing a repair installation of Windows XP can fix many serious startup problems. While you should not lose any of your important documents, you might lose settings, and you will need to reinstall many updates.
Before performing a repair installation of Windows XP, you should have both your Windows XP CD and your product key available.
To perform a repair installation of Windows XP
1.
Insert your Windows XP CD into your computer.
2.
Restart your computer. If prompted, press a key to start from the CD-ROM.
When the Welcome to Setup page appears, press ENTER on your keyboard.
On the Windows XP Licensing Agreement page, read the licensing agreement. Press the PAGE DOWN key to scroll to the bottom of the agreement. Then, press F8.
When prompted, press R to have Windows XP attempt to repair Windows by reinstalling important Windows components.
The repair and reinstallation process might take more than an hour. Eventually, Setup prompts you to answer questions just as if you were installing Windows XP for the first time. For detailed instructions, read Install Windows XP.

You shouldn't have lost anything unless you deleted it. Just by moving the computer will not lose any programs.

Latoof asks good questions.

First, back up your data. Ask youself what you couldn't possibly live without. Your Outlook email? Backup the PST file. Backup your My Documents folder.

Good instructions on a repair install:

Assuming that you have obtained good advice and need to reinstall your computer (clean install)

Best of luck. The local PC store will charge $75 or more for the service.

I can not find the Key for reinstalling my Windows 98 operating system from the System Restore CD.

If you are truely restoring the orginal computer from an restore CD (from boot up) - it should not ask for a key for it is an OEM install. If trying to install 98 on another computer, not the same make and model than what it was sent out for = it will, and the only way to get this key is to ask Mircosoft.

We can not legally tell you have to 'crack' a installed windows system.
