Question about Computers & Internet
The actual time required to replace the screen isn't long. Normally there are only a few screws to remove and a cable or two to unplug. The screen will cost you quite a lot. A Google search just gave me 3 sites offering screens all in the $400 range. Labor for this kind of repair will like be around $100 at most shops.
Unfortunately, repairing a broken screen on a laptop almost always costs more than a new laptop.
