Mildew smell in bissell little green machine

How can I get rid of the mildew-like smell in my Bissell Little Green Machine? What's the best way to remove hair/clumps of dirt/carpet that are stuck in hard to reach parts of the machine?

SOURCE: Cleaning the bissell little green

We took off the hose by pushing in the 2 white pins on either side of the hose at the end near the base.BE CAREFUL NOT TO PULL ON THE HOSE ITSELF but on the plastic where the hose connects.Flush water thru the hose to clear out all the mildew and junk thats caught up in the hose. Reconnect the hose by pushing back on and locking the pins back in. It'll start smelling better immediately.

SOURCE: bissell little green machine will not spray

The Pumps on these go bad after a couple of months. They rust and will sometimes spray and other times not then eventually not work at all. If your a handy man pull the top off it and remove the pump motor and replace it yourself. The part number is 603-5029 you can put this number in google shipping and get it to your door for about $15 and replace it yourself or have a friend do it. Ebay has tons of them once again just put in the part number and a list of them will come up.
Thanks and have a good one
Sincerely, CRTN

I purchased a used Bissell Little Green Machine. How can I get an owner's instruction manual for it?

Try the Bissell support site: http://www.bissell.com/customer-support/ . There are several models of the Little Green Machine so look at your cleaner to determine the manual that you need. Then search for that model. The model number is on a white label usually on the back of the unit.

http://www.bissell.com/searchresults_userguides.aspx?searchType=find+a+user+guide&searchtext=Little%20Green&mode=228 has a list of the manuals with the model numbers that the manual covers.

I hope this helps.
